Common name - Hercules Rhinoceros Beetle
Scientific name - Dynastes hercules hercules

The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a gigantic rhinoceros beetles species. This species is famous for holding the title as the largest beetle in the world, where the current world record specimen has been measured at just over 18cm.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Guadeloupe Island, North America.

This is the famous subspecies of the Hercules Beetle (D. h. hercules), which stands out against all of the other Hercules Beetle subspecies, by its incredible horn length & thickness which has earned it the world record title for the longest beetle in the world.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
