Common name - Woolly Rhinoceros Beetle
Scientific name - Xylotrupes pubescens
The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a species of Rhino Beetle that is covered in short, golden hairs, and has thick, stout horns.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, originating from Philippines.
This species is ideal for beginners as it is a very fast growing species and are very tolerant of adverse conditions/mistakes.
The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
