Scientific name - Trypoxylus (Allomyrina) dichotomus "Ghost Eye"
The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a RARE, selectively bred bloodline from Japan, of the iconic Japanese Rhino Beetle.
This bloodline exhibits a mutation where adult beetles lack the black pigment in their eyes, making them white. This is the first time this bloodline is being sold in the UK.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Japan.
The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
