Scientific name - Tetrodontophora bielanensis
The listing is for 1x animal, of a rare species of springtail that is famous for being the largest springtail species in Europe. This species has been recorded to reach lengths of up to 7mm.
These have been collected by a European breeder, with this stock originating from Poland, Europe.
This species can live normally at room temperature, but require low temperatures to reproduce as they are seasonal breeders in the wild that produce young with the onset of winter. For successful reproduction, adults should be kept between 5-12C (fridge will work). The springtails feed on a variety of forest materials such as decaying wood and leaf litter. Additional supplements such as mushrooms, yeast powder, and fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
