The listing is for 1x animal, of a rare species of large isopod (rolypoly/pillbug/woodlice) that is one of the giant Porcellio species available in the hobby.

This is a pedigree called "Pastel". This line has been selectively bred for its large size and ability to produce offspring that have yellow spots instead of the regular white on their backs.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Spain, Europe. When a group is purchased, the isopods sent will be an assorted mixture of ages and sizes, to ensure a good start to a breeding colony.

Like other giant Porcellio species, this species prefers a less moist environment compared to other isopods, with plenty of airflow as well.

The isopods feed on a variety of forest materials such as decaying wood and leaf litter. Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone) and fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
