Common name - Giant Magnus Stick Insect "Ratchaburi"
Scientific name - Phobaeticus magnus
This listing is for 5 EGGS, of the largest species of stick insect kept in the UK hobby (third longest species in the world)! Females can reach lengths of 53cm with their legs out-stretched, whilst males are smaller at around 30cm.
This is a new, sexual bloodline that was recently established in the hobby originating from Ratchaburi, which is distinct from the parthenogenetic old bloodline that has been circulating in Europe so far. This new stock is very strong and vigorous with adults reaching much larger sizes.
These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from Ratchaburi, Thailand. The food plants for this species are bramble, raspberry, oak, beech, etc.
