Common name - Spanish Silver Millipede
Scientific name - Ommatoiulus rutilans
The listing is for 1x animal, of a RARE species of millipede that is famous for its black and silver zebra patterns. This species also possesses a long orange patch that runs down their back, although some individuals lack this patch and are fully silver throughout.
These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from Spain, Europe. Please note that this is a very small species where fully grown adults only measure a few centimetres in length.
The juveniles and adults feed mainly on decaying wood and leaf mulch (decayed leaf litter). Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone), fruits & veg, moss, and protein such as fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
