⨂ Larvae - Tiger Flower Beetle, (Mecynorrhina oberthuri)

Common name - Tiger Flower Beetle
Scientific name - Mecynorrhina oberthuri kirchneri f. decorata

The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a VERY RARE species of giant flower beetle that is highly sought after by beetle breeders for their contrasting ripple pattern of orange and black. 

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Tanzania.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
