Common name - Tiger Flower Beetle "Electric"
Scientific name - Mecynorrhian oberthuri f. decorata "Electric"

The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a VERY RARE species of giant flower beetle that is highly sought after by beetle breeders for their contrasting ripple pattern of orange and black. This is a special bloodline where they have been selectively bred for their yellow colour.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Tanzania.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
