⨂ ADULTS - Serpent Flower Beetle, (Mecynorrhina harrisii)

Common name - Serpent Flower Beetle
Scientific name - Mecynorrhina harrisii eximia

The listing is for 1x adult beetle, of a RARE species of horned flower beetle. The adults have a spotted back and very large horns tipped in red which resemble serpent tongues.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Cameroon.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood.
