Common name - False Rainbow Millipede
Scientific name - Litostrophus segregatus
The listing is for 1x animal, of a highly sought-after species of millipede that is famous for its contrasting silver and orange colouration. While similar in appearance to the original Rainbow Millipedes (Atopochetus dolfusii), this species is slightly duller in colouration but easier to breed.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in Europe, with the stocks originating from Thailand, Asia.
The juveniles and adults feed mainly on decaying wood and leaf mulch (decayed leaf litter). Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone), fruits & veg, moss, and protein such as fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
