This listing is for bat guano which can be added to the substrate for isopods. Bat guano is odourless, 100% organic and contains the essential elements of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium.
Bat guano is an integral part of the diet and an important source of nutrients for cave dwelling isopods such as Cubaris species. Adding bat guano to isopod enclosures shows an overall improvement in health and reproductive capacity.
Guano is very high in nitrogen, so it should be used sparingly to prevent harmful nitrogen buildup in your enclosures. We recommend mixing in 1 teaspoon of guano per 5 litres of substrate. It can also be applied via a very light sprinkle over the top of the substrate.
