Common name - Starry Flower Beetle
Scientific name - Inca clathrata

The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a very RARE species of flower beetle native to Central America.

The males have a broad, V-shaped horn on their head. Both sexes have elytra (wing cases) that are covered with many small, cream coloured spots which resemble stars shining in the night sky.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Veracruz, Mexico.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
