⨂ Larvae - Ogre Stag Beetle, (Hexarthius forsteri)

Common name - Ogre Stag Beetle
Scientific name - Hexarthius forsteri kiyotamii

The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a spectacular species of stag beetle native to Myanmar. This species is well known for their thick mandibles with large protrusions. This is a very rare species and it is the first time it is being offered for sale in the UK.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Myanmar.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood.
