Common name - Hooded Rhinoceros Beetle
Scientific name - Golofa claviger

The listing is for 1x adult beetle, of a RARE species of rhino beetle from South America which has a large, umbrella-like horn on the top, earning their nickname.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, originating from Saptipo in Venezuela.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
