Common name - Neptune Rhino Beetle
Scientific name - Dynastes neptunus
The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of the second largest rhino beetle species in the world. The appearance of D. neptunus is very similar to D. hercules, but the horns are longer and D. neptunus also have 2 additional horns on the side.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Colombia.
The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
