Common name - White Hercules Rhinoceros Beetle
Scientific name - Dynastes grantii
The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of the largest rhino beetle species in the USA. Unlike other members of the Hercules Rhino Beetle family, adults of the White Hercule sare a minty-white colour instead of the typical black + yellow.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Arizona, US.
The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
