Common name - Cryptic Leaf Insect
Scientific name - Cryptophyllium oyae "Chiang Rai"

This listing is for 5 EGGS, of a new species of large leaf insect native to Vietnam. The females can have a wide range of abdominal shapes, and are highly variable. This is a new species that was newly described in 2020 by Royce Cumming and Stephane Le Tirant, and was named after Oy Houngsavath.

As with most Cryptophyllium species, hatchlings feed very easily without any fuss on bramble. This makes C. ouse significantly easier to raise than other Phyllium species, proving itself as a beginner-friendly option for those that want to try raising leaf insects.

These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from Chiang Rai, Thailand. The food plants for this species are bramble, raspberry, oak, beech, etc.
