This listing is for premium crushed leaf litter, an essential dietary staple for invertebrates that thrive on decomposing organic matter. Unlike other suppliers, this leaf litter mix comes pre-crushed, saving storage space and eliminating the need to tear apart whole leaves before adding to enclosures. The bag is compact due to the leaves being pre-crushed, but the amount of leaves is equivalent to roughly 7-8x of uncrushed leaf litter, providing you a generous supply that’s ready to use right out of the bag.
These crushed leaves are equivalent to:
- 50g (500 ml bag) -> equal to ~4 litres of uncrushed leaves
- 100g (1000 ml bag) -> equal to ~8 litres of uncrushed leaves
This leaf litter mix consists of a diverse blend of leaves from over five hardwood tree species, providing a rich source of nutrients.
