Scientific name - Chalcosoma caucasus
The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of the Chiron Rhinoceros Beetle which are characterised by their impressive 3 horns + metallic green colouration. This is the largest rhino beetle species in Asia, and grows 1.5x bigger than its cousin - Chalcosoma atlas.
These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from South East Asia.
The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
