Common name - Strawberry Fire Millipede
Scientific name - Centrobolus rugulosus
The listing is for 1x animal, of a rare species of millipede that is new to the hobby. This species possesses a strawberry-red body which is lined with contrasting orange markings along its side. Juveniles start off pale, but their red and black colouration strengthen as they grow up.
These are a mixture of CAPTIVE BRED and wild collected animals for introducing genetic diversity, with this stock originating from South Africa, Africa.
The juveniles and adults feed mainly on decaying wood and leaf litter. Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone), fruits & veg, moss, and protein such as fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
