Common name - Brock's Spiny Stick Insect
Scientific name - Brockphasma spinifemoralis "Bach Ma"

This listing is for 5 EGGS, of a very spiny stick insect species native to Vietnam. This species was described just recently in 2014, and it was named after the Phasmotologist Paul Brock. The females of this species exhibit an interesting egg-laying behaviour, similar to that of Epidares nolimetangere. Females will first dig a hole in the ground using their front legs. They then bend their abdomen forwards to roll/drop the egg into the dug hole, then cover it up using their front legs again with substrate.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Bach Ma National Park, Vietnam. The food plants for this species are bramble, raspberry, fern, cherry laurel, etc.
