Common name - Rainbow Millipede
Scientific name - Atopochetus dollfusii

The listing is for 1x animal, of a highly sought-after species of millipede that is infamous for its contrasting blue and red colouration. Juveniles start off pale, but their blue and red colouration strengthens as they grow up. Previously, this species was distributed in the hobby as Tonkinbolus dollfusii until the scientific name was updated.

These are from a CAPTIVE BRED stock that has been mixed with wild collected animals for introducing genetic diversity, with the stocks originating from Vietnam, Asia.

The 3 sizes available are:
1. Small - 1-2cm juveniles
2. Medium - 2-5cm grown on juveniles
3. Large - +5cm subadults/adults

The juveniles and adults feed mainly on decaying wood and leaf litter. Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone), fruits & veg, moss, and protein such as fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
