The listing is for 1x animal, of a large species of isopod (rolypoly/pillbug/woodlice). This species is new to the UK hobby, and it is highly-sought after by breeders for its contrasting black and neon yellow/white markings, and for its humongous size (the original wild stock being 2.4cm in length).

This is a special bloodline originating from a European hobbyist who found a population at a certain location by Lake Garda that reaches a larger size than the other A. tirolense localities available in the hobby. This special line also has larger and more vibrant yellow & white markings on their bodies.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from an undisclosed location around Lake Garda, Italy. When a group is purchased, the isopods sent will be an assorted mixture of ages and sizes, to ensure a good start to a breeding colony.

The isopods feed on a variety of forest materials such as decaying wood and leaf litter. Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone) and fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
