The listing is for 1x animal, of a new species of Magic Potion Isopods (rolypoly/pillbug/woodlice) in the hobby, derived from Armadillidium granulatum. Compared to the commonly kept A. vulgare "Magic Potion", these A. granulatum "Magic Potion" grow bigger and reproduce faster, making these a better option for many.

This is a pedigree called "Magic Potion", which has been selectively bred for a mutation that reduces the level of the isopod's body pigments. This results in pretty, milky-white bodies that are dotted with yellow and dark spots. Juveniles are purely white to start off with, but they develop the multi-coloured spotting as they mature.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Europe. When a group is purchased, the isopods sent will be an assorted mixture of ages and sizes, to ensure a good start to a breeding colony.

The isopods feed on a variety of forest materials such as decaying wood and leaf litter. Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone) and fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
