Common name - Yellow Flatback Millipede (AKA. Yellow Thai Flat Millipede)
Scientific name - Antheromorpha uncinata "Yellow"
** Although A. uncinata "Yellow" has historically been called "Yellow Flatback Millipede/Yellow Thai Flat Millipede", this species has been marketed under different common names in recent years by other sellers. These include "Yellow Spined Millipede" and "Yellow Dragon Millipede, likely in reference to the spiny protrusions that line its body. This highlights the importance of using the scientific name whenever possible, to avoid confusion or misidentification between species with similar or multiple common names. **
The listing is for 1x animal, of a highly sought-after species of millipede that is famous for its intricate, yellow patterns the spiny protrusions that line its body. This species is easy to breed and very prolific.
This is a rare line called "Yellow", which originates from a genetically distinct stock from the regular red Antheromorpha uncinata, and produces yellow coloured specimens.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Thailand, Asia.
The juveniles and adults feed mainly on decaying wood and leaf mulch (decayed leaf litter). Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone), fruits & veg, moss, and protein such as fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
