This listing is for 5 EGGS, of the popularly kept species of stick insect that is well-known for the adult males being an electric blue. Both sexes possess a spectacular set of bright, red wings which they can flash open and create 'hissing' noises when they feel threatened.
This species was originally distributed under the name of "Achrioptera fallax" for many many years
This species was previously cultured in the hobby under 'Achrioptera fallax' for many many years, but this was an incorrect identification and this species has since been verified to actually be Achrioptera manga.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Madagascar. The food plants for this species are bramble, raspberry, oak, beech, etc.
