Scientific name - Trypoxylus (Allomyrina) dichotomus septentrionalis
The listing is for 1x adult beetle, of the iconic Japanese Rhino Beetle, which is the largest rhino beetle species in Japan.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Tokyo, Japan.
This species is ideal for beginners as it is a very fast growing species and are very tolerant of adverse conditions/mistakes.
The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
