The listing is for 1x animal, of a beginner-friendly species of isopod (rolypoly/pillbug/woodlice) that is popular due to their ease of breeding and their due to their cute, orange, white and black colouring. Please note that this is a very small species where fully grown adults are about 5mm in length.

Cubaris sp. "White Shark" is the perfect choice as a starting species for keepers that want to get into keeping more advanced Cubaris species later on, such as Rubber Duckies and Lemon Blues.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Thailand. When a group is purchased, the isopods sent will be an assorted mixture of ages and sizes, to ensure a good start to a breeding colony.

As with most Cubaris spp., this species should be kept moist and not wet. Too much humidity and dampness can introduce problems such as moulting issues and sudden die-offs. Therefore, there should also be lots of places to escape the moisture from the soil when needed. These can be in the form of decaying wood pieces, cork bark, and piles of leaf litter.
