High protein Japanese Beetle Jelly for adult beetles - 18g wide cup
This listing is for 1x premium beetle jelly pot imported from Japan - the country where beetle breeding all started over 50 years ago. These are the larger 18g wide-cup variety, which allows easier access to the jelly for males that would otherwise be obstructed from regular shaped jelly pots due to their large horns/mandibles. These jellies can also be used as protein supplements for other invertebrates such as isopods, millipedes, roaches, ants, and other exotic pets.
These jellies have been specially manufactured for Japanese professional breeding. These boast a high protein content and are fortified with trehalose and vitamins to promote an increase in egg-production and longevity for the adult beetles. The advantage of using jellies over traditional fruits is that these do not foul and remain palatable for longer, and they do not attract fruit flies.
These are not to be confused with the generic Chinese beetle jellies that other vendors supply, which are unfortunately mostly made up of sugar and are low in nutritional content.
