Scientific name - Phalacrognathus muelleri "Ruby Ghost"

The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a highly sought after species of Stag Beetle that is infamous for their metalic, rainbow colouration as adults.

This is a special bloodline where they have been selectively bred for their red colour. Additionally, this bloodline exhibits a mutation where adult beetles lack the black pigment in their eyes, making them white.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Queensland in Australia.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood.
