The listing is for 1x, larva of a NEW, rare species of flower beetle that was described and first bred in 2019.

These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from Somaliland.

This species is very easy to breed similarly to Sun Beetles (Pachnoda marginata) and are therefore suitable for beginners to rear. The thorax is lemon yellow, and the wings are covered in contrasting markings of black and red / orange / yellow.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
