Common name - Caliper Rhino Beetle
Scientific name - Golofa porteri

The listing is for 1x, larva of a RARE species of Venezuelan Rhino Beetle that belongs to the Golofa genus, which is known for having an unusual, second upright horn on the thorax, and abnormally long front-legs that are 2-3 times longer and thicker than the rest.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, originating from the State of Aragua in Venezuela.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
